United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

The UNGC is a voluntary initiative for companies and organizations to act as good members of society and achieve sustainable growth by demonstrating responsible and creative leadership. Companies and organizations that sign the UNGC are required to comply with and practice 10 principles in four areas: protection of human rights, elimination of unfair labor practices, response to the environment, and anti-corruption.

Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

RSPO is a non-profit organization (NPO) established in 2004 by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and European and American companies. Its goal is to promote sustainable palm oil production and use, and it is run by stakeholders from the following seven sectors related to the palm oil industry: Palm oil production industry, oil extraction and trading industry, consumer product manufacturing industry, retail industry, banks and investment companies, environmental NGOs, and social and development NGOs.

Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)

The TCFD is a task force launched by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) at the request of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors. It aims to ensure proper capital allocation, efficient financial markets, and a sustainable and stable economy by examining how companies should disclose information on the risks and opportunities associated with climate change and enabling appropriate evaluations by investors.

Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

CDP is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) managed by a UK charity, and operates a global disclosure system to help investors, companies, countries, regions and cities manage their environmental impact. CDP works on behalf of institutional investors to assess, assess and disclose their environmental performance.

The Keidanren Biodiversity Declaration Initiative brings together companies and organizations that are working on multiple of the seven items that make up the "Keidanren Biodiversity Declaration and Action Guidelines (revised)," or that agree with the overall purpose of the initiative.
