Strengthening quality management
In order to comply with laws and regulations and promote food safety, we have established a "Quality Policy" and obtained the international standard ISO9001 certification (quality management) for our production department as well as our head office (business, corporate) and development department, and unified the certification for the head office, development department and production department in February 2024. In addition, the production department has obtained ISO22000 certification (food safety management).
All employees work together to improve the quality of our operations, from product planning and design to the manufacturing process, quality inspection, inventory management, transportation and delivery, and the administrative departments that support these.
The number of non-conformities identified in the external audit in fiscal 2023 was one related to quality management and four related to food safety management.
Additionally, we continually work with our partner companies (contractors) to reduce quality risks.ISO9001, 22000 Acquisition Status

Product Display Initiatives
We provide proper labeling in compliance with laws and regulations, including the Food Labeling Standards. We revise our labeling from time to time based on the Food Labeling Standards of the Food Labeling Act, and strive to provide proper and easy-to-understand labeling while complying with the law and cooperating with industry groups and group companies. In addition, we disclose information about the origin of ingredients, product allergens, manufacturing plants, etc. for household products on our website.

raw materials
Many of the raw materials for our oil and fat products are sourced from overseas. The most common are soybeans, rapeseed, and palm, with soybeans imported mainly from the United States and Brazil, rapeseed from Canada and Australia, and palm oil from Malaysia and Indonesia. Olive oil, a popular household oil, is imported from Spain, Italy, Australia, and other countries. Corn, which is the raw material for starch, is also sourced mainly from the United States. We procure a variety of other raw materials and supplies, ensuring their safety.
Genetically Modified Ingredients
Currently, genetically modified crops used around the world to produce vegetable oil include soybeans, rapeseed, corn, and cotton (cottonseed). Genetically modified crops that have been scientifically verified as safe and approved for import by the government are imported as "genetically unmodified" crops (treated without distinction between genetically modified crops and conventional crops) and used as raw materials for vegetable oil.
