"ChoToku®"series of commercial oils and fats

The "ChoToku®" series utilizes our proprietary technology "SUSTEC®," which was developed to extend the shelf life of oil while maintaining its delicious flavor, allowing it to be used for longer than regular oils. Extending the shelf life not only reduces the amount of raw material (grains) used, but also reduces the amount of land to be cultivated and reduces the burden on the supply chain in processes such as "making," "transporting," and "disposing," which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions.

J-Oil Mills' strength is that it handles both oil and starch materials. Taking advantage of the strength of being able to create various features by combining these, the company is developing a solutions business that proposes high-added-value products for major restaurants, ready-made meals, and processed foods. "Neotrust®,"  a starch material that absorbs both water and oil, ensures the tenderness and juiciness of freshly made meat dishes and the crispiness of fried foods. "Hitrust®," a starch material with high water retention, disperses between meat fibers, allowing cooked foods to maintain their juiciness and texture for a long time.
By developing starch ingredients that can help reproduce and maintain the flavor, texture, and taste, we hope to actively contribute to solving social issues, such as providing the delicious taste of freshly made food and reducing food waste.
